SVG · markup in, artwork out
See the vector,
then change it.
Paste SVG markup and CodeRush shows the graphic centred on a checkerboard stage, so transparency is obvious and scale is honest. The source stays beside it, editable, for the next attempt.

A viewer that tells you the truth
Transparency, bounds and scale.
An <svg> root is detected from the markup, so pasting an export from a design tool or a hand-written icon both land in the same place. The checkerboard behind the artwork makes transparent areas visible instead of hiding them on a white page, and the graphic is centred so you can judge its bounds.
Because the source is right there, this is also the fastest way to answer the small questions: does this path close, is that viewBox wrong, what does the icon look like at a different size, does the gradient survive a colour change. Edit, rerun, look again.
SVG that does things
Animation, scripts and the consent line.
SMIL animation and CSS animation inside the markup run, so an animated icon animates. If the markup pulls an image or a font from another host, the pad pauses before that first request and names the origin; Run offline renders it with no connections at all.
If what you have is really an HTML page that contains inline SVG, paste it as a page — the HTML playground runs it with its scripts and styles, and the vector comes along. And if you want to build a chart from data rather than paste one, the SVG chart template is a library-free bar chart you can re-point at your own numbers.
Passing artwork around
A link instead of an attachment.
A Rush link carries the markup in the URL fragment, up to 64 KB of source, and opens as the rendered graphic on the other side. For a review that is usually better than a PNG: the other person can see the markup that produced it and send it back changed.
Snapshots keep versions locally, pinned if they matter, with a JSON backup you can export and re-import. Nothing of yours becomes a file on a CodeRush server at any point — see the privacy notes.
Questions
- Can I paste an SVG exported from a design tool?
- Yes. Markup with an svg root is detected and rendered; the checkerboard stage makes transparency visible.
- Do animations inside the SVG run?
- Yes. SMIL and CSS animation in the markup run in the sandboxed frame.
- Is there a file size limit?
- A share link holds up to 64 KB of source. Pasting into the pad is limited only by your browser.
- Can I convert SVG to PNG here?
- Not in the browser pad. The local agent service can render any source to a PNG for scripts and AI agents; see the agent page.
